Barbara Ann (Clayton) Disipio

Barbara Ann “Barb” (Clayton) Disipio passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at her residence in Wayne, PA. She was 63. Barb was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Strafford, PA. She worked as a Nurse in the local hospitals and was a Personal Trainer for the past 30 years, being a well known Pilates Instructor in the area. She also supported the Football and Lacrosse teams at Radnor High School. Barb enjoyed gardening and exercise of any form, especially riding her bike. Born in Philadelphia, PA on August 13, 1954, she was the daughter of Elvin D. and Concetta R. (Fanelli) Clayton. Surving is her loving family including her husband of 31 years, Lawrence “Larry” Disipio; two sons: Lawrence Disipio Jr and Matthew Disipio; a sister, Lucinda Hilgen and her husband John; two brothers, Marc Clayton and his wife, Michele and Christopher Clayton and his wife, Karen and many other loving family members and friends. Barb's Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Assumption Church, 35 Old Eagle School Road, Wayne, PA 19087 on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 11:00am. The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:50 am, at the church. Inurnment will be private.
