Barbara Eve Dunlap

Barbara Eve Dunlap Age 76, died unexpectedly on January 4 at Wilmington Hospital while recovering from hip surgery. Barbara, born in West Chester, PA on August 21, 1934, currently resided in Bellefonte.She was the daughter of the late Abram C. and Helen Huff. She is survived by her beloved children; daughter Lisa Mulrooney (John) and son Alex Dunlap (Nancy Leah). She is also survived by six adored grandchildren, Bridget, Brendan, and Evan Mulrooney and Jonny, Michael, and Gabriel Dunlap; brother, Howard Huff and sister, Suzanne DeFelice. Barbara worked for the last 20 years as a private duty nurse’s aide and was widely recognized for her commitment and compassion to those in her care. She was a loving mother and grandmother who had the gift of making her love felt. Barbara was a unique and beautiful soul whose generosity of spirit, intelligence and humor touched all those who knew her.Memorial services will be held at Hillcrest-Bellefonte United Methodist Church (Marsh and Hillcrest) on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 11:00am.
