Barbara T. Hartnett

Barbara T. Hartnett, 64, of Jenkintown, PA, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2016 peacefully, at her residence. She was the wife of John F. Hartnett. Barbara was born in Teaneck, NJ on November 29, 1952, a daughter of the late Helen Elizabeth (Corbett) and Edward William Tobin. She was a member of Immaculate Conception BVM Church Jenkintown, PA 19046. She was employed as Vice President of Physicians Services at Abington Memorial Hospital where she had a long career committed to the health and well-being of those in need. Barbara is survived by her husband John, a daughter, Kelly Hartnett And a son, Jack, husband of Rachael Hartnett. Barbara is also survived by a sister, Ann Tobin Foote and a brother, Edward Tobin, husband of Nadia Amara. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, and aunts and uncles. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 AM on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Immaculate Conception BVM Church in Jenkintown, PA. Family will receive friends from 9 to 11:15 AM on Thursday, December 15th at Immaculate Conception BVM Church in Jenkintown, PA Her Interment will be private.
