Barbara J. Stein

Barbara J. Stein (nee Lynch), age 80, of Lansdale, PA formerly of Hatboro, PA passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022. Barbara was born on Sept. 12, 1941, to the late Claire (McDermott) and George H. Lynch. Beloved wife of the late Jerome Stein. Barbara is also predeceased by her son Gary Moore, daughter Laurie Applegate and granddaughter Andrea Applegate.

Barbara was an avid reader and enjoyed going on cruises with her husband. She also looked forward to her lunch dates with family and friends. Barbara had a great sense of humor & winning smile that will be sorely missed by friends & family. As an example, often when there was a holiday dinner, unknown to us, Barbara would bring a secret guest; it always added a little excitement & interesting conversation. That had the family guessing every holiday “who will Aunt Barbara be bringing as her secret guest”? You never knew what you were going to get with Barbara but it was always interesting & full of laughs.

Barbara attended St Basils Academy High School graduating in 1959. Her friendship with her sorority sisters has lasted over 60 years & has always been so very special to her. Barbara worked primarily in hotel & property management industries including the Holiday Inn in New Hope, Camco Property Management & the Galman Group.

Needless to say, there will be an enormous void without Barbara, but we are so grateful for having her in our lives for over 80 years!

Barbara is survived by a daughter, Susan Moore Goodman; 3 grandchildren, Brittany Applegate Kirkpatrick (Kevin), Jared Applegate, and Tyler Moore; Sister Susan Corr, 3 great-grandchildren, Gianna, Scarlett, and Ezra and Nieces & Nephews:

Linda Damm; Michael Damm (Marie); Barbara Riggs (Rick) and Larry Corr (Kelly).

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation Thursday, Sept. 15th from 10-11 AM followed by her religious service at 11 AM both at the Joseph J. McGoldrick Funeral Home, 507 West Ave., Jenkintown, PA 19046. Interment private.
