Barbara J Thompson

Barbara J. Thompson age 90 of King of Prussia passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family. She was born in Philadelphia on September 20, 1930 to the late Dr. Robert and Katharine Wiltbank. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Rankin N. Thompson, a son, Richard N. Thompson and 2 heavenly great grandchildren. Barbara was a member of PEO Sisterhood for 65 years which helps women continue their secondary education by providing scholarships, grants and loans. She had a love of sewing, crafts and baking. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her family was everything. Barbara is survived by 3 children; Debbi Julius (Lee), Steve Thompson (Donna) and Sandy Moody (Andy); a daughter in law, Beth Thompson; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service 11 am Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at Lower Providence Presbyterian Church, 3050 Ridge Pike, Eagleville, Pa 19403. Family will receive friends from 10:30 to 11 am. In lieu of flowers contributions in Barbara’s name may be made to Special Olympics Montgomery, 980 Harvest Drive, Blue Bell, Pa 19422.
