Beatrice Florence “Bea” Lombardi (Rose)

Beatrice Florence “Bea” Lombardi (Rose), age 97, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2025, in Paoli, Pennsylvania.

Born on March 26, 1928, in Norristown, Pennsylvania, Bea was a proud lifelong resident of the state. She graduated from Norristown High School and went on to earn her beautician license from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. That same year, she began her career as a beautician in Philadelphia. Sometime after that she transitioned to a position at Lansdale Tube before eventually joining the Montgomery County Courthouse, where she worked diligently until her retirement in 1998.

In 1950, Bea married Francis Lombardi in Jacksonville, Florida. The couple lived briefly in Florida before returning to Pennsylvania in 1951 to raise their family and build a life together.

Bea is lovingly remembered by her four children: son Timothy Lombardi (Becky) of North Carolina; daughters Linda Delaney (James) of Norristown; Stephanie Wittich (Richard) of Virginia; and Vicki Simkins (Craig) of Virginia. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life.

A woman of many interests and boundless energy, Bea enjoyed cooking—especially traditional Italian meals that reflected her heritage—and cherished hosting family dinners and gatherings. She had a flair for style and even did some modeling at one time. Her hobbies included gardening, dancing, crafting, and traveling. Among her favorite destinations were Italy and Ireland. She delighted in visiting historical sites, strolling through Longwood Gardens, going to the movies, and window shopping at the mall. Always eager for an outing or adventure, Bea rarely sat still, she was happiest when on the go with friends or family.

Her warmth, vitality, and love for life left a lasting impression on all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those who loved her and inspiration to those who carry forward her legacy of joy and resilience. A Memorial Service will be held on August 23, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Fairview Village Church 3044 W Germantown Pike Eagleville, PA.
