Bernadette R. (Foley) Volpi

Bernadette R. (Foley) Volpi passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at the Golden Living Center in Phoenixville, PA. She was 87. Mrs. Volpi was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. She worked as a Registered Nurse for the former Pediatric Associates and also Toddler Town, both in King of Prussia. Bernadette was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, PA. Born in Philadelphia, PA on February 2, 1927, she was a daughter of the late William J. and Mary Ruth (Walters) Foley. Surviving is her loving family including her husband of 64 years, Anthony J. "Chuck" Volpi, Sr. (former Upper Merion Twp. supervisor); a daughter, Bernadette T. Weis and her husband, John, of Collegeville, PA; three sons: Anthony J. Volpi, Jr. of Voorhees, NJ, Mark A. Volpi of King of Prussia, PA and William A. Volpi of Brooklyn, NY; four grandchildren: Eileen "Sissy", Anthony J. III, Richard and Nicholas; two great-grandchildren, Dylan and Makenzie; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Albert Foley and William Foley, Jr. Relatives & friends are invited to Bernadette's Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 502 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA on Monday, July 7, 2014 at 10:30 am. Her viewings will be Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4:00 pm, at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA; also Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:20 am, at the church. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bernadette's memory in the form of gift cards from Party City, Michaels Crafts, Target or Walmart for the residents fund at the Golden Living Center in Phoenixville.
