Bernard J. Hughes, Jr.

Bernard J. Hughes Jr. passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery in E. Norriton, PA. Mr. Hughes was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. He worked as a warehouse manager in the electronics field. Bernard was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia. He enjoyed watching the Sixers and was a die-hard Eagles fan. Born in Norristown, PA on August 30th, he was a beloved son of Ann Marie (Popick) Hughes and the late Bernard J. Hughes, Sr. Surviving in addition to his mother are 2 brothers, Joseph Hughes and his wife, Mary and Albert Hughes and his wife, Maggie; 2 sisters, Ann Marie Hughes and Jovita Hughes; and many nieces and nephews. Relatives & friends are invited to Bernard’s viewing at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 from 9 to 10:20 am, with his Funeral Mass starting at 10:30 am. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bernard’s memory to Camilla Hall, Villa Maria House of Studies, 230 IHM Drive, Malvern, PA 19355 and/or Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406.
