Bernard A. Lewandowski passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Shannondell in Audubon, PA. He was 83. Mr. Lewandowski was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. He worked as a machinist on steam machinery, retiring from Crane Co. in 1999. Bernard was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia, PA. He enjoyed fishing, and tinkering and working with his hands. Bernard was a US Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict. Born in Shenandoah, PA on August 10, 1934, he was a son of the late Chester and Catherine (Totash) Lewandowski. He was the husband of the late Nadia (Spotts) Lewandowski, who died in 2004. Surviving is his loving family including a son, Phil Lewandowski and his wife, Vikki, of King of Prussia, PA; two grandchildren, Alina & Noelle; and a brother, John Lewandowski and his wife, Lela, of Bossier City, LA. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Alfred & Leonard. Bernard’s Prayer Service will be held at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 11:00 am. The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday from 10 to 10:50 am, at the funeral home. Interment will be at a later date in Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer, PA.
