Bernice M. Bridgeman

Bernice M. Bridgeman, 89, of Mt.  Laurel, NJ passed away Tuesday, August 19th, while in the company of family members, at her residence.  Formerly of Tacony Bernice was born in Philadelphia, PA on October 19, 1924, a daughter of the late Sarah (McAlinden) and Peter E.  Hamill. She was a lifetime member of St. Leo the Great Church and also a member of St. Leo's Seniors, and Tacony Seniors for many years and a Graduate of St. Leo's Commercial Course. Bernice was the loving wife of the late Joseph L. Bridgeman, they were married on Nov. 24, 1946 at St. Leo the Great Church.  She was the loving Mother of  Michael J., Bernice Flynn, Mary Gillen (Daniel) and the late Joseph P. Bridgeman.  She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, her sister Sally Emrey, and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive relatives and friends Monday August 25, 2014 from 10-11AM at St. Leo the Great Lower Church 6658 Keystone St. (At Unruh) Phila., Pa 19135.   A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am. Her Interment will be at Magnolia Cemetery in Philadelphia, PA. Family will receive relatives and friends Monday August 25, 2014 from 10-11AM   St. Leo the Great Lower Church 6658 Keystone St. (At Unruh) Phila., Pa 19135.   A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am.  Interment at Magnolia Cemetery Philadelphia, PA.
