Bernice L. O'Kane

Bernice L. O'Kane, 85, of Tacony passed away Thursday, May 1st, 2014 peacefully.  Bernice was born in Phila, PA on August 30, 1928, a daughter of the late Julia (Kearney) and William  Ward. She was a member of St. Leo Seniors  Bernice had been the loving wife of the late Bernard for 60 years.  She is the loving mother of Bernard Jr. (Patricia), Maureen Malloy (Dennis), Beth Poust (Don) and Bill (Tricia).  Devoted Grandmother of Lauren (Fran), Michael (Colleen) Patrick, Timothy, Jeffrey, Matthew, Christopher, Nevin, Darby and the late Conor.  Great Grandmother of Jaden Loubet.  Relatives, Friends and members of St. Leo Seniors are invited to her viewing Saturday  May 10, 2014 9:30-10:50 AM and her  Funeral Mass at 11 AM at St. Leo the Great  Church, 6658 Keystone St. Phila., PA 19135.   Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Conor O'Kane Foundation 517 Guyer Dr. Haddon Heights, NJ 08035.
