Bernice Ave Maria Praczek

Bernice A.M. Praczek, age 87, of Eagleville, PA passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2017. She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph T. Praczek, Sr., her son Joseph T. Praczek, Jr., and her son-in-law Richard Vochek. She is survived by three children, Bernadine West, Peter J. Praczek, and Kathleen Rieger (LeRoy); four grandchildren, Ian West (Aimee), Judy (Gustavo), Kaylyn (Mark), and Sara Furman (Daniel); and a great-grandson, Daniel. Bernice was a founding member of Visitation BVM church. She belonged to the Women’s Guild, the Sodality, and the Visitation Quilting Group. She was also a Democratic Committee Woman. She worked for many years at the Christmas Bazaar at Visitation and waitressed at the church dinners. Bernice enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles, and jigsaw puzzles. She was an avid sports fan. She enjoyed supporting her children and grandchildren at their sporting events and extra-curricular activities. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 9:45-10:45 am at Visitation BVM Church 196 N. Trooper Rd. Norristown, PA 19403 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Cheltenham, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Visitation BVM Church. Arrangements entrusted to Szpindor-Meyers Funeral Home, Trooper, PA.
