Betty E. Weber

Betty E. (Storz) Weber passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Markley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Norristown, PA. She was 99. Betty was a resident of King of Prussia, PA and a member of The Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, where she volunteered often and was part of the altar guild. She participated in numerous senior activites at the church and at the Upper Merion Senior Center. Betty was a phenomenal gardener and skilled needle worker, particularly embroidery, quilting and crocheting. She was a very artistic woman, who loved crafting, playing the piano, and she even taught herself how to play guitar. Some of Betty’s other hobbies included baking, playing pinochle and spending time with her girlfriends during their frequent dinners together. She was a motherly grandmother and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Early on, Betty did secretarial work, then later worked as a bookkeeper for JC Penny.

Betty was born on February 13, 1925 in Philadelphia, PA. She was a daughter of the late Frederick C.

and Elsie Mae (Bahman) Storz. She was married to the late Joseph E. Weber, who passed away in 1999.

Betty is survived by a son, Joseph V. Weber; 3 daughters, Diana G. Augustine, Linda D. Hoffman

(Frank), and Pamela B. Weber (Dana Mark); 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Storz and Frederick Storz; and her sister, Gloria Bender.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Betty’s viewing on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 from 10:00-11:00am at the Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, 805 DeKalb St. Bridgeport, PA 19405. Funeral service will begin at 11:00am. Entombment will be in Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia, PA.
