Betty Jean (Ellis) Trexler

Betty Jean (Ellis) Trexler passed away peacefully on Monday, February 1, 2010, surrounded by her loving family at Mercy Suburban Hospital in E. Norriton, PA. She was 84. Mrs. Trexler, a homemaker, was a resident of E. Norriton, PA and was formerly of Pottstown, PA. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Pottstown, PA and the Priscilla Chapter 503, Order of the Eastern Star in Souderton, PA and formerly of Lansdale, PA.Born in Wilmington, DE on August 26, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Avery H. and Beulah C. (Edwards) Ellis. She was the wife of the late Gregg S. Trexler, Sr., who died in 1999. Surviving are her loving family including two sons, Gregg S. Trexler, Jr. and his wife, Cathy of King of Prussia, PA and David W. Trexler of Royersford, PA; a daughter, Donna L. Fagley and her husband, Fred of Royersford, PA; a sister, Nancy C. Sturgis of Wilmington, DE; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a brother, William R. Ellis. Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Service at The Bacchi-Courtney Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Thursday, February 4, 2010 at 11:30am. Officiating will be the Rev. Karen Nuscher-Creasy, Pastor of St. John's United Church of Christ in Pottstown, PA. Her viewing is Thursday morning from 10 to 11:20am, at the funeral home.
