Blanche B. Mendrey

Blanche B. Mendrey, 96, of Trooper,PA, passed away Thursday June 12, 2014 peacefully at Phoenixville Hospital. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on February 15, 1918 to the late Joseph and Sophie (nee Sowizdral) Zawislack. She married her husband John Mendrey on August 31, 1946; he preceded her in death in 1989. Also preceding her in death was her brother Walter Zawislak and sisters Stella Cameron and Josephine Devan. Blanche is survived by her sister Laura Cepko from Stowe, PA, Nephews Richard E. Cameron and William Cameron. Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Thursday June 19, 2014 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by a religious service at 11:00 a.m. at the Szpindor-Meyers Funeral Home located at 101 North Park Avenue Trooper, PA 19403. Her Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Phoenixville.
