Bolick J. Roszko

Bolick J. Roszko passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 22, 2012 at Montgomery Hospital in Norristown, PA. He was 93. Mr. Roszko was a resident of King Manor, PA. He worked as a boiler operator for the former Allen Wood Steel Co. Bolick was a member of St. Augustine R.C. Church in Bridgeport, PA. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed woodworking, horseshoes and poker. Most of all he loved spending Sundays with his family.Mr. Roszko was a US Navy veteran of WW II, serving as a gunner mate from 1943 to 1945.Born in Mount Carmel, PA on March 28, 1919, he was a son of the late Bernard and Josephine (Tarlecky) Roszko. He was the husband of the late Antoinette "Lona" (Interrante) Roszko, who died in 1986. Surviving is his loving family including 2 sons, Bernard Roszko of NJ and Augustino "Gus" Roszko of Trooper, PA; 2 daughters, Nancy Jones and her husband, David, of King of Prussia, PA and Jayne Corliss and her husband, Michael, of Trappe, PA; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren; his companion of over 25 years, Maria Rosko; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.Relatives and friends are invited to Bolick's viewing at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202) Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 from 9 to 10:50 am. His Prayer Service will follow at 11:00 am.
