Brendan Thomas Byrne

Brendan T. Byrne, age 60, of Philadelphia, PA passed away Saturday, July 10, 2021 surrounded by his family. Brendan was born on August 10, 1960 to the late Elizabeth Ann (Nee Rodden) and John J. Byrne. Loving father of Christan M. Glennon (Tom) and grandfather to Jason, Thomas, Emma, Michael, and Audrey. Dear brother of Michele Laurianitis (Dave), Kevin (Patti), Sean, Patrick, and the late Terence. Brendan is also survived by his companion Therese Delucas and many nieces and nephews. Brendan was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. He loved the beach and was most at peace with a fishing rod in his hands. Growing up in Philadelphia, Brendan was always up for a party and never let the opportunity for a quick joke pass him by. He loved animals, sweets, and cartoons. Brendan worked in numerous fields during his life, but he thoroughly enjoyed his time working with troubled youth at Woods Services. The difference he made brought joy to himself and those he helped. Brendan adored his grandchildren and daughter, and they adored him right back. Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation Friday, July 16th from 10 AM – 12 PM and memorial service at 12 PM both at the Walter J. Meyers Funeral Home, 507 West Ave. Jenkintown, PA.
