Bridget K. (Moran) Botero

Bridget K. "Bridie" (Moran) Botero passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at Season's Hospice in Phoenixville, PA. She was 85. Mrs. Botero was a resident of King of Prussia, PA and was formerly of Largo, FL. She worked as an assembler for Phoenix Bioengineering, Inc., in Bridgeport, PA. Bridget was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia and formerly of St. Patrick Church in Largo. She enjoyed reading mystery novels, gardening, playing bingo and shuffleboard, and going to the casinos with her friends. Most of all, Bridget loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Born in County Leitrim, Ireland, on April 20, 1929, she was a daughter of the late James and Mary (Armstrong) Moran. Surviving is her loving family including her husband of 58 years, Jose S. "Serge" Botero; two sons, Kevin J. & Angela Botero of Elverson, PA and John J. Botero and Donna Luebkert, of Downingtown, PA; two daughters, Patricia L. & Anthony Metricarti of King of Prussia, PA and Barbara M. & Jeff Dale of Collegeville, PA; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Thomas & Rita Moran of County Leitrim, Ireland; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Ann Moran and Ellie Rose Mullaney. Relatives & friends are invited to Bridget's Funeral Mass at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 10:00 am. Officiating will be the Rev. Martin T. Cioppi, Pastor. Her viewing is Saturday morning from 9 to 9:50 am, at the church. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bridie's memory to the Pipe Organ Fund at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406 and/or Season's Hospice, 140 Nutt Rd., Phoenixville, PA 19460.www.bacchifuneralhome.com
