Bronislawa (Bertha) Vargo

VARGO, BRONISLAWA (BERTHA) GROMEK Entered into eternity on Wednesday May 30, 2012, with family at bedside.  Bertha was born on May 5, 1926 in Philadelphia but most recently resided in Greensburg PA.  Her family lovingly remembers her as a vibrant, independent, compassionate, heartfelt woman with much common sense & a strong work ethic.  She delighted in dancing & music and was an extraordinary homemaker with a passion especially for baking/gifting cookies.  Bertha has rejoined the love of her life/husband Steven Charles Vargo who entered into eternity in 1978.  Mother of Donna LeBlanc of Baton Rouge Louisiana, Arlene Shingleton (Robert) of Gilbertsville PA, Stephen (Nadia) Vargo of Pittsburgh PA,  Linda (Joseph) Szilard of Greensburg PA & Lorraine Vargo of Olympia Washington.  Grandmother of Stephanie LeBoeuf, Christopher LeBlanc, Christopher Shingleton, Megan Shingleton and Justin Szilard.  Also survived by siblings Lillian Dombrowski of Connecticut & Stanley Gromek of Montana.  Viewing at 9 a.m. & service at 10:00 a.m. Saturday June 2 at Szpindor-Meyers Funeral Home in Trooper PA, 101 North Park Avenue.  Burial immediately thereafter at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Norristown PA.    Viewing at 9 a.m. & service at 10:00 a.m. Saturday June 2 at Szpindor-Meyers Funeral Home.  Interment St. Patrick’s Cemetery
