Bruce Wagner Sr., life-long resident of Bridgeport, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully in his home on Wednesday, February 3rd, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Norristown, PA on August 7, 1956, Bruce was the son of the late William and Marie (Mazzerle) Wagner. He was 64 years old. After attending Upper Merion High School, Bruce made the selfless decision to join the military. While all branches of the military appealed to him, his family recalls Bruce joked his choice was “Army all the way, because they have the best looking uniforms!” During his time spent in Active Duty, Bruce worked on military vehicles earning an SP4 rank in 1976, while stationed in Hawaii. Bruce was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a humble man, who loved his children and grandchildren dearly, often stating his family was his world. Bruce was a man of many talents and hobbies. He was a skilled hunter and loved working on cars. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, building puzzles, and spending time with his family. Bruce’s favorite pastimes also included listening to country music, decorating for the Holidays, and playing pool! He worked tirelessly as a truck driver to support his family. He is also remembered for being a diehard Eagles fan. Bruce is survived by his loving wife, Debora Marie (Kerick) Wagner; son, Bruce Wagner Jr. (Kendee); daughter, Alisha Wagner; four grandchildren: Daniel, Bruce III, Dylan, and Bria; two brothers, David V. Wagner (Jackie) and Glenn W. Wagner (Connie); niece, Amanda Crouse (Dennis); great-niece, Violet; along with many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
