Carl M. Nilo, Sr.

Carl M. Nilo Sr. passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at his residence in West Hazleton, PA. He was 44. Mr. Nilo was previously a long time resident of Bridgeport, PA. He worked as a truck mechanic. He was a former member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, PA. Carl was a guitar player and loved classic cars. Born in Blackwood, NJ on March 27, 1965, he was a son of Theresa R. (Skreenock) Nilo and the late Dr. Carl J. Nilo. Surviving are his loving family including his mother, a son, Carl M. Nilo, Jr. and his wife, Jessica of Virginia Beach, VA; two daughters, Jaclyn R. Nilo of Virginia Beach, VA and Jenna M. Nilo of Bridgeport, PA; one grandson, Chase Nilo; a brother, John J. Nilo and his wife, Lenore of Ft. Myers, FL; a sister, Terri F. Nilo of Hazleton, PA; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by a sister, Cynthia M. Nilo.Relatives and friends are invited to his Prayer Service at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202) Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Friday, February 19, 2010 at 8:00pm. His viewing is Friday evening from 6 to 7:50pm, at the funeral home.
