Carmella F. (Calomino) Bennett peacefully passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at her residence in King of Prussia, PA, surrounded by her devoted family. Carmella was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church and retired as an Administrative Assistant for Lockheed Martin, both in King of Prussia, PA. Born in Dunmore, PA on February 12, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Emil F. and Theresa D. (Mascaro) Calomino. Carmella was the beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Bennett until his unexpected passing in 1980. Even through this adversity, Carmella remained dignified and continued to gracefully shepherd their four children into adulthood. Carmella leaves behind two sons, Joseph P. Bennett and his wife, Dee. of Spring City, PA and Captain David A. Bennett, USN and his wife, Janice, of Manassas, VA, as well as two daughters, Lisa A. Rauscher and her husband, Frank, of Pipersville, PA and Denise Pescaro and her husband, Edward, of Apex, NC. She was blessed with 9 grandchildren whom she treasured: Danielle, Joseph, Amanda, Adam, Anna, Ross, Ryan, Drew, and Alec. She is also survived by her sister, Frances M. Ross and her husband, Joseph, of Dunmore, PA; sister-in-law, Carole Calomino of Kingston, PA; and several other loving family members. She was preceded in death by her brother, Emil Calomino. Carmella’s family is sincerely thankful for her devoted friends and neighbors who offered her support throughout her life. They are also appreciative of the compassionate care provided by her health care team. Carmella’s Funeral Mass will be held at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia PA 19406 on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 11:00 am. Family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday morning from 9:30 to 10:45, at the church. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA.
