Carmella (Storti) DiSanto passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 18, 2017, at Gwynedd Square Nursing Home in Lansdale, PA. She was 99 years old. Mrs. DiSanto was a former resident of Bridgeport, PA and a member of the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Born in Bridgeport, PA on October 3, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Philomena (Boccella) Storti. She was the wife of the late Anthony “Tony” DiSanto, Sr., who died in 1997. Surviving is her loving family including 2 daughters, Susan Dayoc, Phil (Harry) Franzoni; 2 sons, Anthony (Mary) DiSanto, Jr. and Charles (Andrea) DiSanto; 10 grandchildren: Susan, Robert, Stephen, Diane, Lisa, Anthony III, Michael, David, Stephanie and Eric; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; 1 brother, Anthony (Mary) Storti; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Robert Dayoc, Sr., who died in 2014; 7 sisters and 1 brother. Relatives and friends are invited to Carmella’s Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church, 120 Jefferson St., Bridgeport, PA on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 11:00 am. Her viewing is Thursday morning from 9 to 10:20 am, at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA. Entombment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery Mausoleum, Norristown, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be in Carmella’s memory to Gwynedd Square Nursing Center, 773 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, Pa 19446.
