Carmella T. (Rotondo) Orangers passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at the Wayne Center in Wayne, PA. She was 92. Carmella was a lifelong resident of Bridgeport, PA. She graduated from Bridgeport High School and worked for over 36 years at the Bridgeport Elementary School as a lunch aide. Carmella was a former member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, PA.
Born in Bridgeport, Pa on May 16, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Antoinette (Branca) and Joseph J. Rotondo. Carmella was the wife of the late Philip W. Orangers, who died in 1989.
Surviving is her loving family including her 4 children: Diana Wanczyk and her husband, Joseph, Dennis Orangers and his wife, Susanna, Patricia Romano and her husband, Vincent and Dino Orangers and his wife, Valerie; 7 grandchildren: Dena (Frank) Torrente, Lauren (Anthony) DeMitis, Joseph (Jillian) Wanczyk, Dana Orangers, Philip Orangers, Theresa Romano, and Dominic Orangers; 8 great-grandchildren: Olivia, Isabelle, Carly, Amelia, Joey, Daniel, Ben and Dominic; a sister, Dolores Spoerl and her husband, Frank; and many other loving family and friends.
She is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Salvatore D. Rotondo and Nicholas J. “Chief” Rotondo.
Relatives and friends are invited to Carmella’s viewing at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 from 9 to 10:15am, Eulogy will being at 10:20 followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30am. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA.
In lieu of flowers , memorial contributions may be to the Bridgeport Community Fund, P.O. Box 67, Bridgeport, PA 19405 in Carmella’s memory.
