Carmine Enrico Capone passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at Suburban Community Hospital in Norristown, PA. He was 88. Mr. Capone was a resident of Bridgeport, PA. First and foremost, Carmine loved spending time with his family. He worked as a stonemason for PennDOT for 20 years. Carmine was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Bridgeport and the Holy Saviour Club. He enjoyed watching the Italian National soccer team, traveling, and gardening, especially tending to his vegetable garden. Born in Montella, Italy on July 15, 1933, he was a son of the late Vincenzo and Carmella (Santoro) Capone. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 53 years, Silvana (Lenzi) Capone; a son, Fulvio Salvatore Capone and his wife, Marzia; a daughter, Monica Capone Ennis and her husband, Thomas; three grandchildren: Christian Capone, Matthew Capone and Julia Ennis; and a sister, Gaetana Capone. He was preceded in death by brothers: Ferdinando, Ennio, Salvatore, Fulvio and Raffaele; and sisters, Italia and Angela. Relatives & friends are invited to Carmine’s viewing at Sacred Heart Church, 120 Jefferson Street, Bridgeport, PA on Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 9:30 to 10:20 am; with his Funeral Mass starting at 10:30 am. Entombment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery Mausoleum, King of Prussia, PA.
