Carmine "Charlie" Pop" DeMenna, Sr., passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at Jefferson Einstein Hospital in E. Norriton, PA. He was 87 years old. Carmine was a resident of King of Prussia, PA and a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church for many years. He worked as a carpenter in the Philadelphia Carpenter’s Union Local 164. Carmine enjoyed watching the Phillies and Eagles games with his wife, cooking, and baking pies and cookies.
Born in Palombaro, Italy on July 27, 1938, he was a son of the late Nicola and Costanza (Giangiulio) DeMenna. Carmine was also the loving husband of 65 years to Anna Mary (Verguldi) DeMenna.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Carmine DeMenna, Jr. (Deneen); his daughter, Antoinette Broderick (Michael); two grandchildren, Nicholas DeMenna and Tiffany DeMenna; a step-grandson, Greg; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Carmine is preceded in death by his son, Marco Anthony DeMenna; as well as multiple brothers.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at the Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd. King of Prussia, PA 19406 from 9:30am to 10:45am. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am. Words of Remembrance will begin at 10:50am. Interment will be private.
