Carol Ann “Trixie” (Denczi) Horton passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at her residence in King of Prussia, PA. She was 74 and was a graduate of Bishop Kenrick High School, Class of 1966. Carol worked for CSL Behring, retiring in 2019 as an Executive Secretary. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church and a former member of Our Mother of Sorrows Church, both in Bridgeport, PA. Carol was a member of the Bridgeport Elks Lodge #714, where she was a former Exalted Ruler and a two-time All-American at Ritual. She was also a member of the Norristown Maenner-Chor Club, Elkton Moose Lodge #851, and the Phoenixville VFW Post 1564. Carol enjoyed golfing, traveling, bingo, playing cards with her friends, but especially loved spending time with her family.
Born on February 12, 1949, in Norristown, PA, she is the daughter of the late Joseph F. and Carolyn A. (Picard) Denczi.
Surviving is her loving family including her partner of 21 years, Robert “Conne” Doyle; 2 brothers, Joseph F. Denczi Jr., and John R. Denczi, and many other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Lorraine Denczi.
Carol’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt 202), Bridgeport, PA on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, from 9:00-10:45AM, with an Elk service starting at 10:45AM, followed by her prayer service at 11:00AM.
