Carol A. (Gruber) Daywalt passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at ManorCare Health Center in Montgomeryville, PA. She was 76. Carol was a former resident of King of Prussia, PA and was member of Mother of Divine Providence Church. She was a graduate of St .Matthews High School in Conshohocken, PA, Class of 1961 and was a Special Needs Bus Aide for Upper Merion School District. Born in Philadelphia, Pa on September 25, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Elizabeth A. (Kenney) and Ernest A. Gruber, Sr. Carol was the wife of the late William “Bill” Daywalt Sr. who died in 2006. Surviving are her loving family including her son, William “Bill” Daywalt Jr. and his wife, Jennifer, of King of Prussia, PA; a daughter, Michele D. Daywalt and her companion, Mark, of Norristown, PA; 7 grandchildren: Alexandra, Kalie, Caitlyn, Ernest, Casandra, Lisa and Mark; two brothers, Ernest E. Gruber, Jr. and his wife, Mary, and Harry Gruber and his partner, Charles; and many loving nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Gruber; and two sisters, Eileen Gruber and Linda Kieffer. Funeral services and interment will be private at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributaions may be made to the King of Prussia Volunteer Fire Co.
