Caroline T. Czepiel

Caroline T. Czepiel, of Philadelphia, PA passed away peacefully, with her family by her side on Tuesday, December 19th, 2023. She was 86 years old. Caroline was born in Philadelphia, PA on January 8, 1937, a daughter of the late Stephanie (Stachowicz) and Floryn Jakelwicz.

She was the widow of Carl T. Czepiel. They were married in 1956 when she was 19 and he was 26. He was the love of her life. They had two children together, Christopher and Catherine.

Caroline was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and her beloved dog, Misty. She enjoyed playing games and puzzles, going to the movies and spending beach days with her family. She worked as an executive secretary for J.J. Henry, a naval architectural and marine engineering firm for many years. She finished her career working for The Philadelphia Corporation for the Aging and retired in 1999.

Caroline is survived by her daughter Catherine (Pilipczuk), her husband John. Her grandchildren, Emily and Ethan. Her daughter in law, Cheryl Butler, plus many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

She is predeceased by her parents, Stephanie and Floryn. Her loving husband, Carl and son, Christopher. Her brother, Floryn (Sonny).

Relatives and friends are invited to Caroline’s viewing on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, from 8:15am to 10:15am at Hoffmann Meyers Givnish Funeral Home 1770 Brown Ave, Bensalem PA followed by her Funeral Mass starting at 11 am at St. Anselm Catholic Church, 12669 Dunks Ferry Road.

Interment at Resurrection Cemetery Bensalem, PA.
