Carolyn Zee Dominguez

Carolyn Zee Dominguez, 79, of Clayton, Delaware, passed away peacefully at home on September 7, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Zee was born November 21, 1946, in Wilmington, Delaware to Arthur and Dolores Hamilton. She was a 1964 graduate of John Dickinson High School. She was employed with the State of Delaware until leaving there to pursue her career managing restaurants. She was a member of Deborah Rebekah Lodge. She was a spunky little firecracker who enjoyed family time, life, friends and Tweety. She was the best mother, grandmother and friend a person could ask for. She would do anything for anyone. She will be missed tremendously.

She is survived by her son Juan Dominguez II, daughter Lori Quinney (Matt), grandsons Shane Quinney (Jessica) and Zack Quinney, brother Gary Hamilton and many cousins and longtime friends.

She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, brother Arthur “Buzz” Hamilton II, sister Shirley Lane and many aunts, uncles, a nephew and a niece. She was also preceded by her dear friends Juan Dominguez and John Adamson.

A special thank you to Shane, Jessica and Hospice for caring for her over the past 4 months.

As requested by her, there will be no services.
