Carolyn Anne Hopson

Carolyn Anne (Carter) Hopson passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 17, 2018, surrounded by her family. She was 55. Carolyn was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. She was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia. Carolyn was very active in her community and her church. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family, who meant everything to her. Born in Philadelphia, PA on January 9, 1963, she was the daughter of Edward F. Carter and the late Elizabeth “Bettie” (O’Donnell) Carter. Surviving is her loving family including her father; her husband, John J. Hopson; two sons, John J. Hopson, Jr. and Michael E. Hopson; two daughters, Ashley E. (Robert) Shea and Madison A. Hopson; three grandchildren: Emily, Olive and Abel; four brothers: Edward F. (Dorothy), Michael J. (Georgette), Timothy J. (Nancy) and Robert T. (Debbie); two sisters, Betty Anne (Lou) Golato and Kathleen Spina; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Cody Christopher Hopson. Relatives & friends are invited to Carolyn’s viewing at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA on Wednesday, October 24, 2018, 2018 from 9:30 to 10:45 am, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 am.
