Carolyn L. O'Dea

O’DEA, CAROLYN L. Age 97, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2017 with her husband holding her hand. Beloved wife of Joseph F. O’Dea, loving mother of Lee Breen (Ethel) O’Dea and Joseph F. (Carol) O’Dea, Jr., Esq. She is survived by six beautiful grandchildren: Stephanie Breen (Jonathan) Yoder, Allison Michelle O’Dea (fiancé Matt Gelb), Daniel William (Sloane) O’Dea, Kathryn Shane O’Dea, Julia Rose O’Dea and Anna Leigh O’Dea. She was delighted by the arrival of two great-grandchildren: Ethan Henry Yoder and Jackson Cruz O’Dea. She is also survived by her sister, Anne Palazzolo, and predeceased by her brother John LaVallin and sister Mary Stone. Carolyn devoted countless hours to her church community at St. Hilary of Poitiers. Services will be held on October 30, 2017 at 10:00am with a viewing from 9-9:45 am at St. Hilary of Poitiers Church 820 Susquehanna Rd. Rydal, PA 19046. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls' High School 311 N. 19th St. Phila. PA 19103 or St. Hilary of Poitiers Church.
