Carrie Anna Jakovasich

Carrie Anna (nee Knebel) Jakovasich passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Sunrise of Lafayette Hill, PA. She was 104 years old. Carrie was a longtime resident of King of Prussia, PA. She was an animal lover, who always supported local animal groups & shelters. Carrie loved to travel with her husband, John. They would go on many local road trips. She enjoyed weekends shopping and going on excursions with her son and his family. Above all, she adored spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Born on October 26, 1920, she was the daughter of the late William and Anna (nee Kegel) Knebel. Carrie was also the beloved wife of John J. Jakovasich, who passed away in 1996.

Surviving is her loving family including her son, Curt J. Javic and his wife, Dee; two grandchildren, Dr. Keith Javic (Kelly) and Elisa Colangelo (Nick); two great grandchildren, James Ryan Javic and Tressa Lyn Colangelo; as well as many other extended family and friends.

Carrie is preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, William and Peggy Knebel.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Carrie’s viewing at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, 805 DeKalb St. Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Friday December 6, 2024 from 9:30am to 10:00am; with her Prayer Service beginning at 10:00am. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Carrie’s name to the SPCA of your choice.
