Catherine (nee Williams), 86, of Abington, PA passed away peacefully at home on November 17, 2022. Catherine was born in Bronx, NY on December 6, 1935. She was a daughter of Margaret (nee Lydon) and Harry Williams. Beloved wife of William F. Loving mother of William Jr (and girlfriend Dawn), Joan Downs (Anderson, and her husband Frank), and grandmother of James Schorn (and his wife Megg), Catherine Schorn (and fiancée Joe), Stephanie Watson (Anderson, and her husband Steve), & Laura Anderson, and great grandmother of Dylan Schorn.

She was preceded in death by her mother Margaret, father Harry, her brother Alan, and daughter in law Cindy.

Catherine is also survived by her sisters Joanne Howald (her husband Herb), Peggy Williams, Ann O’Brien, and brother Chip Williams.

Kate loved her family, her Irish heritage, reading, sewing, quilting, card playing, competing against her sister’s in Wordle, watching project Runway with Joan, spending time at their home in OCNJ, dinner at the Crab Trap, her “wine” time, family traditional Christmas dinner at the William Penn Inn, the annual Notre Dame “girls” luncheon, and supporting the Drueding Center and serving on the auxiliary board for 20+ years.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Wednesday, November 23rd from 9-10:15 AM followed by her funeral mass at 10:30 AM both held at Queen of Peace Church, 820 North Hills Ave. Glenside, PA 19038. Her interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
