Catherine Ann Hoffman (Orme) passed away on Saturday September 25, 2021 at her residence in Elkins Park, PA. She was 91. Born in Philadelphia, PA on July 25, 1930, Catherine was a daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine (Towey) Orme and the wife of the late Robert E. Hoffman who died in 1991. Surviving are her children: Susan H. DeAngelis (Kenneth), Robert E. (Kathy), James T. (Alice) and Paul J. (Michele); eight grandchildren: Michael, Jennifer, Mary Elizabeth, Robert, Kathryn, Patricia, Nicholas and Lauren; five great-grandchildren: Roman, Evan, Eleanor, Ryder and Chase. Catherine is also survived by her brother John Orme and was predeceased by her brother Thomas G. and sisters Mary Donohue and Rita McComiskey. Catherine was a loving and supportive wife and mother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was fortunate to see them grow into adulthood. She was an enthusiastic supporter of their athletic endeavors. Later in life, Catherine became a baseball fan and was a faithful Phillies fan rarely missing a game. She was a proud graduate of Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls, Class of 1948 and enjoyed spending summers with her family at her home in Sea Isle City, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing on Friday October 15, 2021 from 7-9:00 PM at the Joseph J. McGoldrick Funeral Home, 507 West Ave. Jenkintown, PA 19046 and Mass of Christian Burial Saturday 11 AM at St. James Church, 8320 Brookside Rd., Elkins Park.
