Catherine Elizabeth Howard

Catherine (Betty) Wheatley Howard, age 90, of Wilmington, DE passed away on December 4th.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years William Howard, who passed away in September, as well as by her parents Woodye and Bertha Wheatley and brothers Robert and Bill Wheatley. She is survived by her children William Jr of WY, Steven and spouse Suzanne of Wilmington, DE, Timothy and spouse Brenda of Jacksonville, FL, Karen and spouse Mark Shaw of Newark, DE; 6 grandchildren Jennifer Murphy, Rebecca Shaw, Daniel Howard, Matthew Howard, Jessica Shaw and Mark Shaw; and 4 great grandchildren.  Betty worked at Sun Oil where she met her husband Bill and was a member of St. Stephens Church.  She was an avid reader and loved to travel.   Services and burial will be private.
