Catherine (Stanton) Hoyer of Warminster, PA, passed peacefully on Sunday, September 9, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert H. Hoyer. She is survived by her loving children, Kathleen M. Greger (James) of Coatesville, PA, Robert J. Hoyer (Beverly) of Easton, PA, Mary Louise Smith (Ross) of Warminster, PA and Thomas M. Hoyer (Karen) of Warminster, PA. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren: Donna Ashman, Stephen Greger, Debbie Greger, Krista Beaver, JOanne Hor, NIcole Hoyer, Julie Hoyer, Eric Smith, (deceased), Ashley Frugoli, Laura Hoyer and Brian Hoyer. Catherine also had 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews Catherine was born and raised in St. Athanasius parish, West Oak Lane, and graduated grade school in 1939. She was a member of the first graduating class of Little Flower High School in 1943. She enjoyed attending her reunions and kept in touch with many classmates. In 1946, she married Robert H. Hoyer in St. Athanasius church and their children attended grade school there before moving to Glenside in 1969. Catherine was then active in St. Luke's church and volunteered for many other organizations including Birth Right and Abington Hospice. She organized the making of afghans for Hospice even after moving to the Wesley Complex in Hatboro. She was also an accomplished seamstress. Catherine was a woman of faith. Her Irish heritage made her a strong and determined woman. Although a quiet person, she accomplished many things, especially when it was for the good of others. She gave her family a strong foundation for life! Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing from 10-10:45am and to her Funeral Mass at 11am on Wednesday, September 12 both at St. Luke the Evangelist Church, Easton Road and Fairhill Avenue, Glenside. Her internent will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
