Catherine M. (Burcaw) Leach

Catherine M. (Burcaw) Leach passed away peacefully on Friday, June 24, 2011 at Montgomery Hospital in Norristown, PA. She was 95. Mrs. Leach was a resident of W. Norriton, PA. She was a very active member of the Roxboro Baptist Church in Philadelphia, PA. Catherine was also a member of the Senior Adult Center in Norristown, PA. She loved sewing and knitting. Born in Philadelphia, PA on October 3, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Levi F. and Katie S. (Swier) Burcaw. She was the wife of the late Thomas E. Leach, who died in 1993. Surviving is her loving family including a son, Thomas E. Leach and his wife, Marlene of Las Vegas, NV; a daughter, JoAnn Mill and her husband, Barry of W. Norriton, PA; six grandchildren: Thomas Leach III, Tracey Toms, Jennifer Schwalbach, Barry Mill, Matthew Leach and Kimberly Trost; and ten great-grandchildren.Relatives & friends are invited to her Funeral Service at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St., (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at 10:00am. Officiating will be the Rev. Leslie Kearney. Her viewing will be Tuesday morning from 9 to 9:50am, at the funeral home.
