Catherine Mamrol

Catherine Mary Mamrol, 81, of Roslyn, PA passed away Sunday, November 30, 2025 peacefully, at Abington-Jefferson Hospital, Abington, PA.

Catherine was born in Philadelphia, PA, a daughter of the late Mary C. (Kopacz) and Frank Mamrol. Catherine is survived by her sister Joan (Mamrol) Oetzel and several nieces and nephews.

A proud graduate of St. Joseph’s University, Catherine devoted her career to shaping young minds as a teacher at Immaculate Conception BVM School in Jenkintown, PA. Her students remember her not only for her commitment to their learning, but for her kindness, patience, and the joy she brought into the classroom. To her colleagues, she was a trusted friend, an inspiration, and a source of steady support. Catherine’s legacy lives on in the students she taught, and the many lives she uplifted along the way. She will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial mass in Catherine’s honor is suggested at Queen of Peace Parish in Ardsley, PA.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday December 9, 2025 at 11 AM at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3301 W. Cheltenham Ave. Philadelphia PA. Meet at the front office off of Cheltenham Ave. to caravan to the gravesite.
