Catherine Joan Stutz

STUTZ Catherine Joan (nee Lonergan) of Philadelphia, formerly of Port Carbon, Pa., passed away August 17, 2010 at age 81.  Beloved wife of Walter for 58 years. Loving Mother of Walter Jr. (Pat), Michael (Pat), Mary Jo Brennan (Steve), Ed (Kate), and Vince. Will be sadly missed by 8 loving grandchildren: Michael, Kelly, Shawn, Michelle, Katie, Alexa, Stephen and Alaina. Sister of the Rev. Michael Lonergan, Daniel Lonergan, Winnie Kerns, Margaretta Lonergan, Loretta Franey and Kathleen Brahler.  Preceded in death by her parents Thomas J. and Kathryn Lonergan, brothers Thomas, Edward and Gene, and Sisters Mary Theresa and Mary Frances.  Relatives, friends and members of the Linus Club are invited to her viewing at the Walter J. Meyers Funeral Home 6643-45 Torresdale Ave. (at Unruh) Phila, PA 19135 Thursday 7-9 PM and Friday 8:30-9:30 AM.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday 10 AM at St Leo the Great upper Church. Interment Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.
