Catherine A. (Alfonsi) Yannelli passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at Paoli Hospital in Paoli, PA. She was 74. Mrs. Yannelli was a resident of King of Prussia, PA and worked in the Food Preparation Department for the former Kennedy - Kenrick Catholic High School in Norristown, PA, for 6 years retiring in June of 2010. She was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia, PA.Born in Philadelphia, PA on July 7, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Victor and Mary (Trofa) Alfonsi.Surviving is her loving family including a son, Robert D. Yannelli and his wife, Donna of Downingtown, PA; a daughter, Beth A. Canfield and her husband, Richard of Limerick, PA; 4 grandchildren: Samantha, Jack, Hannah, and Ashley; two sisters, Annie Placido of Media, PA and Angela M. Holbrook of Blue Bell, PA; and many nephews and nieces.She is preceded in death by many brothers and sisters.Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Monday, August 22, 2011 at 11:00am.Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Lower Merion Twp., PA.Her viewing will be Monday morning from 10 to 10:50am, at the church.Funeral Arrangements are by The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., Bridgeport, PA www.bacchifuneralhome.com
