Charles S. Brain

Charles S. Brain passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at Montgomery Hospital in Norristown, PA. He was 75. Mr. Brain was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. He worked for 30 years as a sales manager for AT & T. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Port Kennedy in King of Prussia, PA, where he was a volunteer. Charles enjoyed fixing things, fishing, traveling and music and he loved dogs. He was known for getting his coffee every morning at WAWA's. Mr. Brain was a retired Colonel in the US Army. Born in Wilkes Barre, PA on June 28, 1935, he was a son of the late Tom and Emily (Trevail) Brain. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 54 years, Nancy A. (Butler) Brain; a brother, Tom H. Brain and his wife, Ruth of Williamsburg, VA; a niece, Sally; and many cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Service at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 10:30am. Officiating will be the Rev. Daniel Morse. Charles' viewing will be on Saturday morning from 9 to 10:20am, at the funeral home. Interment will be private in Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia, PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Charles' memory to the First Presbyterian Church of Port Kennedy, 1084 Old Valley Forge Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406.
