Charles M. Haney, Jr.

Charles M. Haney, Jr., known to friends as "Charlie", passed away on December 21, 2018, at the age of 70. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Linda (Modica); a daughter, Caryn (Bobby); 2 step-children, Renee (Dan) and Rob; 5 grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren; and a sister, Maryanne. he was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Ann (nee Sauchin); and a brother, Michael. Charlie was a Vietnam War Veteran who served in the US Army from July 1968 to July 1974. He received a National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and Good Conduct Medal. He worked as a carpenter for various companies installing office furniture. His hobbies were fishing, coin collecting and he was an antique collector. Charlie was a kind and loving husband, father and grandfather. He was an easy going man with a witty sense of humor. He always said, "everyday you wake up was a good day." Charlie will be missed by everyone that knew him.
