Charles W. Schambron

Charles W. Schambron passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 16, 2012, at his residence in King of Prussia, PA. He was 89. Mr. Schambron was a self-employed engineer who owned and operated the Wayne Power & Equipment Company for 30 years, until his retirement in the 1990's. He was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia, PA. Charles was a US Navy veteran.Born in La Junta, Colorado on July 14, 1923, he was a son of the late Thelma (Crawford) Schambron. Surviving is his wife of 63 years, Alma T. (Cortellessa) Schambron; three daughters: Stephanie Joyce and her husband, Tom, of Amherst, MA, Michelle Schwarz and her husband, Paul, of Media, PA and Denise Cooper of Berwyn, PA; five grandchildren: Tessa, Ryan, Greggory, Benjamin and Alysse; and 2 great-granddaughters, Reighan and Emerson.Funeral services and interment will be private at the request of the family.
