Charlotte M. Conti

Charlotte M. (Thorpe) Conti passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 26, 2009, surrounded by her loving family at her residence in Audubon, PA. She was 81. Born in Marcus Hook, PA on May 26, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Charles G. and Wavia P. (Robinson) Thorpe. Surviving are her loving family including her husband, Nicholas A. Conti, Sr.; two sons, C. Edward Schmitt and his wife, Miriam of Oaks, PA and Charles L. Schmitt and his wife, Judith of Hudson, Ohio; a step-son, Nicholas A. Conti, Jr. and his wife, Melissa of Boyertown, PA; two step-daughters, Debora Russo and her husband, Pete of Eagleville, PA and Sandra Leason and her husband, Mike of Phoenix, Arizona; seven grandchildren: Shannon, Joe-Joe, Nicole, Michelle, Andrew, Brynn, Alison, Elaina, Samantha and Nicholas III; two great-grandchildren, Danilyn and Anthony; a brother, Charles Thorpe and his wife, Anne; three sisters, Catherine Alexander, Janice Brambie and Nancy Teat; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters: Dorothy Starkey, Jean Deisen and JoAnn Starkey.Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Service at The Bacchi-Courtney Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at 11:00am. Friends may call on Tuesday morning from 9 to 10:50am, at the funeral home.
