Charlotte Mayne

Charlotte Mayne, 79, of Ambler, PA passed away surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, October 17th, 2023.

Charlotte was born in London, England on August 26, 1944, the only daughter of the late Valetta Amers and Geoffrey Forester Meadmore. She worked as a Pharmaceutical Research Administrator for Organon for many years.

Charlotte was a huge animal lover and often volunteered at and supported animal shelters in need. She enjoyed gardening, being a trend-setter, and anything related to her beloved England (especially Cadbury chocolates and EastEnders). A meticulous advocate of etiquette and protocol, she loved hosting gatherings and tea parties for family and friends. She doted on her children, her grandchildren, and her treasured fur babies. Charlotte is survived by two daughters: Lisa Mayne and Michele (Mimi) Mayne; her granddaughters, Katherine and Helena; and her sister Laragh in London.

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM followed by a short service at 12 noon, both at the the Joseph J. McGoldrick Funeral Home 507 West Ave. Jenkintown, PA 19046.
