Cheryl Diane Stefanavage

Cheryl D. (Cheri) Stefanavage (Stein), age 69, passed away on September 24, 2026 at her residence in Pottstown, PA.

Born in Pottstown, PA on April 9, 1957, she was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick Sr. and Elizabeth Stein (Miller), and her brother, Fredrick Stein Jr.

Married young, she raised two children, and when they were of school age, she worked as a seamstress at the Lincoln Underwear Company in Boyertown, PA. Later she returned to further her education at the Reading Area Community College and earned an Associate’s degree while she studied to become a Registered Nurse. She began her profession at Pennsburg Manor nursing home.

Later, she and her husband Charles separated, and she went on to become a traveling nurse exploring the country. In her most recent years, she settled down back in Pottstown at the King Street Commons, where she resided for the last 13 years.

Cheri is survived by her two sons; Michael (Amanda) and Matthew (Jennifer Isanski) and her three grandchildren; Luke, Deanna, and Christopher.
