Chester J. Pietluck, Sr. passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 9, 2015, surrounded by his loving family at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery in E. Norriton, PA. He was 92. Mr. Pietluck was a resident of Bridgeport, PA. He worked as a railroad electrical mechanic for the former Philadelphia & Western Railroad, now Septa, for 30 years until his retirement in 1973. Chester was a member of the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, PA. He was a former scout leader of the Boy Scouts in Bridgeport, PA. Chester was a US Army veteran of WW II.Born in Southbridge, Mass on July 20, 1922, he was a son of the late Michael and Sophie (Szal) Pietluck. He was the husband of the late Anne (Palumbo) Pietluck, who died in 1998. Surviving is his loving family including a son, Chester J. Pietluck, Jr. and his wife, Kathy, of Chester Springs, PA; a daughter, Jeannie A. Yost and her husband, Tom, of Pottstown, PA; daughter-in-law, Carol I. (Sites) Pietluck of Bridgeport, PA; five grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by a son, John F. Pietluck. Relatives & friends are invited to Chester's Funeral Mass at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Worship Site, 502 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 10:00 am. His viewing is Tuesday from 9 to 9:50 am, at the worship site. Interment will be in Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia, PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Chester's memory to the American Heart Association, 5455 N.
