Christel Ursula Dellarco

Christel Ursula Dellarco passed away peacefully at her home at Shannondell in Audubon, PA on Sunday, October 3, 2021. She was 86. Christel enjoyed her family, travel, nature, historical books, and crossword puzzles. She had a sharp wit and intellect and was a fascinating story teller. Born in Wattenscheid, Germany on January 27, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Erna (Kurowski) Wittka. Christel is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Mathew L. Dellarco, her daughters Andrea Jacobs (Brian Gallagher) and Ramona Douthit. She was a proud grandmother of Joshua (Amanda), Nathaniel, and Jonathan (Kristen) Douthit and Justin (Danna) and Jarrett (Danielle) Jacobs, step-grandchildren Brendan and Emma Gallagher. She had eleven adoring great grandchildren – Avonlea, Corbin, Samuel, Elijah, Ruthlyn, Aurora and Elyssa Douthit and Ryder, Kayden, Weston and Aria Jacobs. She was predeceased by her two sons in law, Jeffrey Jacobs and Howard Douthit III. Close family members are celebrating her life in privacy. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery.
