Christine M. (Santoro) Rotay

Christine M. "Chris" (Santoro) Rotay passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 27, 2014, surrounded by her loving family at her daughter's residence in Lancaster, PA. She was 78. Mrs. Rotay was a resident of Bridgeport, PA. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, PA. Born in Norristown, PA on October 19, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Pasquale N. and Rose B. (Boccella) Santoro. She was the wife of the late Edward Rotay, Jr., who died in 2007. Surviving is her loving family including her children: Edward Rotay, III and his wife, Ursella, of the Netherlands, Theresa Borders and her husband, Greg, of Lancaster, PA, Stephen A. Rotay and his wife, Melissa, of Lancaster, PA and Michael Rotay and his wife, Nancy, of Swedeland, PA; six grandchildren: Jacob, Anthony, Sarah, Taylor, Maria and Samantha; a brother, Sam Santoro and his wife, Phyllis, of Vero Beach, FL; and many nephews and nieces. Relatives & friends are invited to Chris' Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 502 Ford St. Bridgeport, PA on Monday, March 31, 2014 at 10:30 am. Her viewing will be Monday from 9 to 10:20 am, at the church.
